Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Racks Destination E, two bike platform rack for your heavy electric bikes. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The Destination E is really designed for those electric bikes. It have an included ramp, which makes it easier to ramp the bikes up and onto your hitch receiver. Now with the Trailblazer, since the hitch receiver isn't that high up off the ground, that actually makes it easier for the ramp, since you have a shallower angle, just make sure if you have that two-inch hitch receiver to support that extra weight, since you have a weight capacity of 70 pounds per bike. Now, one feature that is pretty unique as well to this rack is the Tilt-Away feature. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty two bike swing away platform rack and how it fits on this 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So the AfterParty is really useful if you want to get a lot more clearance behind your vehicle. It is a bike rack but it also swings away. It's very similar to the RockyMounts GuideRail bike rack. Hi, everyone. Aiden here with "etrailer." Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination Two Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. Now this is going to be a very entry level option for a platform style bike rack. Platform style meaning it holds a bike in these trays and this one is going to have two straps down at the bottom that pull the bike down and in as well as a frame cradle that slides up and down, can be rotated around and has a strap that runs around the bike to hold it in place on this pad. Now that means a couple things. Frame contact means we want to avoid carbon frame bikes but with the way that cradle and pad can be manipulated, moved around and rotated, it does work really well for alternative frame bikes. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT premium hanging style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. So this is a hanging style bike rack which means the bike is hanging by the frame up here. It's sitting down into our cradles and held in place with these two rubber straps stretched over the frame with a third one around the seat post here, helping to control our side-to-side movement. It doesn't completely eliminate it but it does help quite a bit. And with this you can hold up to four bikes. more

Yakima OnRamp E-Bike Platform Rack with Ramp Review - 2023 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima OnRamp bike rack fits on the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. So the OnRamp is a unique rack where it has ramp included on the rack. Since you have a really high hitch here on the Suburban, this will be extra helpful for getting those heavy bikes up and onto the rack. There are some pros and cons too though so we'll talk about that in this video. This is a premium rack with some premium features and one of them is that it can tilt away with the bikes on, if you need easy access into your hatch. Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2023 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Tire Hold two bike platform rack fits on a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. So you have a larger vehicle and you may wanna get some larger bikes onto your rack. You might want something that's easier to load the bikes up onto, but doesn't take up as much space. That's where the Inno Tire Hold might come in handy. It has some fun features here like the dual wheel mount design and the extra weight capacity but there are some downsides too. Yakima StageTwo 2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima StageTwo platform-style bike rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. As I mentioned, it is a platform-style bike rack capable of supporting up to 70 pounds per bike, holding our bike predominantly by this wheel hook here and an additional strap on the back tire. It's nice that our rack holds onto our bike using this wheel hook, because that means there's no frame contact with our bike itself, so in the event that you're using a carbon frame bike or an alternative frame bike, it doesn't make any contact with the frame, so it won't damage your frame while you're driving. Another nice feature are the integrated cable locks right in the top of the hook here, so you can just wrap it around the frame of your bike and connect it right here on the front there to keep everything secure. Another great feature that this rack offers is the ability to tilt it away, holding onto the rack itself, pulling that black lever down there at the bottom, gives us plenty of clearance. more

How's it going everyone It's Ethan here with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom Bike Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Saris Freedom is a platform style bike rack capable of holding two bikes up to 60 pounds each, which is pretty impressive considering its small form factor. And it's gonna be holding our bike primarily through these padded rotating center mast hook clamps. One thing to note is that because it is holding the bike by the frame, you're probably gonna want to avoid using carbon frame bikes because you wanna avoid any sort of frame contact with those. And for alternative style bikes, the fact that they rotate and move up and down should be fine, but something to keep in mind. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Swagman Current on the back of our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Swagman Current is a platform style bike rack, it's gonna hold the bike in these wheel cradles, and primarily, by our frame. We've got a frame hook on the top and two wheel straps on the bottom for secondary points of contact. The frame hook is going to make frame contact, so that does mean avoiding our carbon frame bikes and picking up a bike adapter bar for any alternative frame bikes just so we have a solid attachment point. With this though, you do have a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, so it's gonna be good for some of our e-bikes. more

We've got a clamp that will hold down around the frame, tighten using a hand knob and it's fully lockable. So it does make frame contact which means we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes but this clamp does rotate 360 degrees and it has the ability to pivot and slide and meet the frame where it is. So any sort of alternative frame should be just fine. more

Hi, everyone. It's Aiden here with the etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the CURT Premium on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The CURT Premium is a hanging style bike rack. It'll hold the bike by the frame hanging down below, with two straps over the top to keep it down in these cradles, with a third strap around the seat post there limiting our side to side movement. It doesn't entirely eliminate it, but it does help with bike-to-bike contact, and in some cases, bike-to-vehicle contact if it we're to sway too much. more

Swagman Current 2 Electric Bikes Rack Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
How's it going everyone Ethan with etrailer here, today to show you the Swagman Current two platform bike rack on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So the first thing we wanna highlight about this rack is the weight capacity. It's able to support up to two bikes of 60 pounds each, so around 120 total. One of the benefits of this bike rack is that whether you're using the inch and a quarter or two-inch receiver tubes you'll still be able to support the full weight. So getting into how this frame actually holds onto our bikes here, as you can see, they have these padded hooks that support the bikes via the frame. So maybe not your best choice if you're using a carbon frame or an alternative style frame, just 'cause it might not hold onto the frame the way you want it to. more

Well, the Door County is very unique in how it's designed because I like to call it the elevator bike rack. It is powered by a seven way connection, so fortunately, the Chevrolet Tahoe has that connection. Most vehicles may or may not have it, so just double check that for yours. Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Yakima StageTwo on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Now, StageTwo is a platform style bike rack, and a really rugged one at that, it's gonna be really well built in heavy-duty. With this, we're holding the bike by our front tire, and it's not making any frame contact, so it's gonna be good for our carbon and alternative frame bikes, and it also has a 70 pound weight capacity per bike, which makes it good for some of our heavier e-bikes too. With this, you do have the ability to tilt it away with bikes loaded. Now, just come to the end of the handle here, squeeze it with both hands as you're applying a little bit of upward pressure, and then it will release, and that'll give us access to the bed of our truck with a full opening tailgate. more

The big thing of that being it's weight capacity it has a 60 pound capacity per bike which for an entry level rack is really uncommon. Hi, everyone. Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the CURT Premium on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. The CURT Premium is a hanging style bike rack. It's gonna hold the bike up here by the frame and it's going to fall down right here. You've got two straps over top the frame to hold it in place as well as a third around the seatpost, limiting our side to side movement that will help with bike to bike contact. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at how the Swagman E-Spec two bike platform rack fits on 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this bike rack is awesome for how heavy duty it is and how it's designed for different situations and you've got integrated locks on your clamps. So we'll talk about those features and we'll talk about how it fits our Tahoe right here. So the big thing about the E-Spec is definitely that weight capacity. 70 pounds per bike, that's a lot. If you have extra heavy electric bikes, great option for you. more

First impressions of the rack on the back of the traverse, I like it, you know, it's simple, not much to it, and it's a pretty good design actually. You know, I think, etrailer actually put a little bit of thought into this one, keeping it simple, keeping it more entry level and economical and still being able to do a lot of different things. You know, it's well made for what it is and it can hold a lot of bikes. So this one can hold up to a total of four, which I think is perfect for the Traverse. more

First thing that makes the Piston Pro X awesome is the LED brake lights that you get. This is not something you have to buy separately and install yourself. It's already on the rack when you take it out of the box. more

First impressions of the rack on the back of the Equinox, I think it's a pretty good fit. Actually, I like how this one sits up a little bit higher, which is important with the Equinox 'cause these are pretty low to the ground. Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2022 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out, the Thule Hitching Post Pro, on our 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. It's gonna be a very popular bike rack, for the hanging style, which means it's gonna hold the bike by the frame itself, so that does eliminate some bikes, that's gonna thrown up there, I wouldn't throw a carbon fiber up here, it could damage that, but for saving space on the rack itself, and making it easier to use, the hanging styles being great for four bikes. Now, they do get a little close if you have it fully loaded, and there might be some swinging back and forth, so just be careful of that, but they do have precautions built in. Let's take a closer look here. So, there's gonna be a strap, on the down tube here on the frame, that's gonna help keep that movement side to side, to a minimum when you're going on the road. more
